Well today’s rather a big day … it’s not long now until the new year is here. What will you be doing when the clock strikes midnight tonight? I wish you a fantastic time whatever you get up to.
On the seventh day of Chocmas,
my true love sent to me
Seven m & m’s,
Six chocolate peanuts,
Five giant buttons,
Four choc rochers,
Three lindt balls,
Two golden roughs,
And a tasty minted pattie.
Did you know that because these are mini m&m’s you can eat more of them? (it’s a scientific fact that they have less calories than the regular sized versions … honest).
PS. Have yourself a fabulous day today, and I’ll see you on the morrow when we’ll be celebrating the start of 2011. I hope you have something fun planned for the last day of 2010. As for me, I spent today going to the movies (watching Tron in 3D), having a lovely lunch of sushi and doing a bit of shopping … nice and relaxing.
Happy New Years Tracey! Have a special evening 🙂
I am so jealous of your day! Sounds absolutely perfect!
Hi Erika – Happy New Year to you too! 🙂
We had a lovely relaxing night in to celebrate the big night … I hope you get up to something fun and enjoy the same! 🙂
I love lazy days spent like we did yesterday … it’s a wonderful way to while some hours away.
M&Ms are great no matter what the size. Have a wonderful New Year.
Hi Ricardo – Well I’m not going to argue with you there. M&Ms are delicious, I even like the peanut version (but not so much the crispy type).
Happy New Year! 🙂
I hope you had a lovely day. It certainly sounds as though it’s been a good one. Cat Power. Oh you’re so organised. I am still wishin’ and dreamin’ and lookin’.
Hi Katie – I did indeed have a lovely New Years Eve day … and today will be pretty wonderful too I think.
Never mind, regarding your Cat Power comment … I love her music too (though I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing her live).
xx
Oh ignore that last bit about Cat Power. I have about five blogs open at the moment and I am supposed to be working (yes, 8.45pm on NYE) and I was a bit confused. I better get back to concentrating.
Hi Katie – I do the same thing … I tend to have lots of blogs open at the same time … sometimes a comment just goes to the wrong place.
Working at night on NYE??? That just doesn’t seem right at all! I hope you have a great first day of the year today! 🙂
happy new year!! I’m going to have a quiet evening with mom and furry family members. Temperature is freezing and mom is a queen in the kitchen!!
bobbi
Hi Bobbi – Happy New Year! Your quiet evening spent with your family (both furry and non-furry) sounds like a lovely way to bring in a new year.
With such cold temperatures, having a skilled practitioner in the kitchen is an essential ‘keep warm’ strategy.
🙂
I do not know whether mini m&m really have less calories than regular ones. The fact is that I am feeling guilty as I had to buy a a complete package of them. I suppose to be on diet :(.
Good share Tracey
let this new year be good for you and your family.
Happy New Year.
Subscribed! 🙂
Hi Daniel – Oh those mini M&Ms are practically health foods … 😉
You can always start the diet again tomorrow.
Happy new year to you too! 🙂
That is the problem of starting the diet tomorrow. It is an endless tomorrow. As the James Bond movie: Tomorrow never dies.
lovely list of choc goodies!
happy new year! hoping it’s a great one 🙂
Hi Belinda – I do love a chocolate or two (as you might be able to tell). Still at least just talking about such treats is healthier than eating them! 😉
Happy New Year to you too! It’s going to be a fantastic one for sure.
🙂
