Time to Paws and Reflect

Friday, October 13th, 2006

Well hello there. It sure is nice to see you passing through. Hopefully you’ll linger for a while and spend some time.

He wishes for the cloths of heaven
Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.

WB Yeats.

This is a poem which I have only recently discovered, but I feel as if I have always known it. I love making connections like that. Such things speak to our souls.

ReflectionI’m a firm believer that soulmates of all different types find us as we travel through life. Whether in the form of a movie, a person, a book, a song or a poem, these soulmates serve to inspire, motivate or reinvigorate our lives.

Sometimes we neglect them, but when you least expect to find one, or when you most need one, there a soulmate will be.
