Merry Christmas, and thanks!

Aside from wishing you all a wonderfully Merry Christmas, I also wanted to take the opportunity to send a big THANK YOU to all my wonderful blog readers and friends for helping to make my 2010 a rather extraordinary year!

You should know that your visits, comments and support are greatly appreciated and mean an awful lot to me.

While I’ll be taking a break from traditional ‘quiet paws’ blog posts from now until the new year, I do have a bit of fun in mind to keep you entertained. If you like chocolate and never get tired of the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ song, then you’ll be in luck!

Have yourself a very merry festive season and I look forward to catching up with all your fun adventures soon.

PS. Did you know that the 12 days of Christmas actually refers to the period between Christmas day and Twelfth Night? I’d always assumed it was a tradition that ended on Christmas day …

Hi Emily – He sure is a cute dog (though I may be a little biased) … though he was somewhat reluctant to be made over into a reindeer for his Christmas photoshoot this year.

Happy holidays to you too!! πŸ˜€
It’s been so lovely not being at work …

Tracey – I wanted to wish you a delightfully festive Christmas, and all the very best for the New Year. It’s truly been a pleasure experiencing your extraordinary jewel like quality that never ceases to illuminate.

Snows have been arriving intermittently here in New England, particularly during nightfall, thus transforming the brilliant heart of sunrise into a crisp white allure.

It’ll be nice this morning to take a peaceful Christmas Eve travel somewhere through the winding woodlands, to contemplate all the pleasant aspects that came into my life this year. Unquestionably you’ll be very much with me in spirit.

Have yourself a very Merry Christmas, Tracey!

Hello there dear Lisa – Thank you so much for your happy festive season wishes and thoughts for a wonderful start to the new year. While Christmas has now passed by for another year, I’m sure you enjoyed a beautiful day surrounded by all you love best.

Your vivid descriptions of the beautiful wintry December landscapes always delight … I do plan on surrounding myself with that snowy whiteness at least one of these Christmas days. I’m sure it’s the best way to enjoy all the delights of the season.

I’m happy to travel with you in spirit on your long and winding walks through the woodlands … I can think of no better travelling companion. I do very much hope that 2010 has been wonderful for you Lisa and that 2011 delights and inspires you in ever more fantastical ways.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Hi Jan – I hope you had a wonderful Christmas too … it’s been a little cold and wet here in Australia this year, so it definitely hasn’t been the place for you.

Hi Erika – Merry Christmas!! I’ve so enjoyed reading your inspirational blog posts … it’s been wonderful to ‘meet’ you this year.

Baxter is a lovely dog, I just don’t think he liked being dressed up in reindeer antlers! Santa brought him a new squeaky toy and a new name tag this year. πŸ™‚
