What’s that I hear you say? It looks as if I’m running behind on absolutely everything again? … surely not?! At such busy times I always apply the philosophy of, ‘better late than never’.
True to form once more I find myself ‘chasing my tail’ and desperately in need of more hours in my day … that’s ok, surely things will settle down one of these days?
In any case, I finally got myself organised enough to pick up a copy of ‘Bespoke‘ (a brand new zine by the wonderful and inspirationally productive Jess). While there is also a virtual version available, when it comes to magazines and books I’m more often than not a printed paper kind of girl … there’s something about that tactile relationship between paper and fingertip that makes the process of reading all the more enjoyable … but I digress …
If you’re into all things lovely, arty, crafty, handmade or vintage (and why wouldn’t you be?) … then ‘Bespoke‘ is the perfect zine for you. Aside from Issue 1 looking gorgeous and being super affordable, it is beautifully presented, and of a very pleasing weight (believe me, that last point is very important for a printed publication).
‘Bespoke‘ is a wonderful way to become better acquainted with talented people you’ve perhaps already read a little about, seen online or met at a market … and better yet, it also offers the perfect introduction to a whole host of other inspirational creatives (the best of both worlds really).
