Some days seem to pass us by so quickly, we barely notice the brief moments that link the time between sunrise and sunset. I like the other kinds of days best – the days where you happily observe the little pieces of life that are going on around you. I had a day like that recently …
I often think that to appreciate the loveliness of externalities, it’s better to focus inwards and let the hectic pace and busy distractions of our days just fall away. At such times the most intriguing events reveal themselves … This is what I saw:
- A man rescue a baby bird from a busy road.
- A woman interestedly studying a young dreadlocked musician on the train while her husband snoozed beside her.
- Blades of grass dancing in the breeze, keeping perfect harmony with my favorite song.
I love noticing random little things … how about you? Have you noticed something interesting today?
