Midnight came and went.
Soon it was followed by a march of numbers across the clock face that saw me mark 1am, 2am and 3am.
Normally I’d blame a full moon or too much caffeine, but I think my lack of sleep a few nights ago was a case of ‘the wrong trousers’. With my regular PJs still not dry from the laundry, I had to make do with a substitute pair … and I think that’s where the trouble started.
Those cursed PJs had me tossing and turning all night.
It’s not that they were necessarily uncomfortable, but because they were a new pair they didn’t have that nice lived in feel. Needless to say the next night I reached for the old faithfuls once more, and was happily rewarded with a full night of sleep.
Have your bed clothing choices ever messed with your sleep patterns? Or is it only my PJs that hold a grudge?
