You’ve got to ask yourself one question …

… ‘Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya … punk?’

While I course I don’t think any of you are ‘punks’, I just couldn’t resist the opportunity to open with a cool line delivered by none other than Mr Dirty Harry himself. But I do hope you’re feeling lucky, because I have a fantastic treat for one of you!

As many of you know I’ve been really fortunate in recent blog contests, and have managed to find myself a winner on many more than one occasion … so I felt that it was time for me to hold another giveaway of my own to return the favour. With the lovely ‘quiet paws’ redesign by Tabitha now complete, it also seems like the perfect time to celebrate the official launch of the shiny new site.

So, back to the giveaway … and most importantly what can you win?

I’ve done a little bit of shopping for you and gathered a wonderful prize pack that I hope you’ll love too … It includes:

  • 2 x Art Print ACEOs (Owl and Time for Tea) by Tabitha
  • 1 x Pink Foxy Squirrel Embroidered Brooch by edward & lily
  • 2 x Mini-Print Sets by Kellie (Tea Time and Brownie Beauty) which includes six mini-prints in total
  • 1 x Twilight Lovin’ Glass Tile Magnet Set by Deanna which includes three matching bird magnets
  • 1 x Rock n Roll Retro Ladies Note Paper Set by jellygnite which includes 10 writing sheets and 5 envelopes
  • 1 x Vintage Scarf (from my own collection)
  • 1 x $25 Donation made in your name to the RSPCA Qld 2011 Flood Appeal (which has been extended to provide support to flood and cyclone affected animals)

The ‘Note Paper Set’ and ‘Foxy Squirrel Brooch’ were purchased from the ‘BrisStyle Handmade Ark Appeal‘ which is raising funds for the Qld Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal (so you’re helping people affected by recent flooding and Tropical Cyclone Yasi). While the $25 donation to the RSPCA Qld 2011 Flood Appeal will help animals that have been injured or displaced by the recent natural disasters.

I’m happy to send these goodies to the lucky winner anywhere in the world. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below, telling me something exciting or creative you’ve done recently.

Entries will close at 11pm (AEST) on 12 February, and the winner will be drawn at random. Best of luck!

  1. Oh wow what a giveaway! I made a grape and tomato salsa for breakfast this morning! That’s creative and exciting and delish! Also your blog looks beautious. Love. *s*

  2. What a generous give away! I must say I don’t think I’ve come across another quite so generous …

Right now I have six self-saucing puddings in the oven … the buzzer’s just gone so I’d better pull them out.

They don’t look anything like the Donna Hay photo, so I’d say they’re pretty creative!

  3. Oooooh, lovely (and very generous) giveaway!

Something exciting I’ve done lately. Hmmmm. Ok, well as you know from Twitter, yesterday I got 95% on a sociology exam! This was super exciting for me, as I’ve majored in cultural studies, film and Australian history, not sociology. My first assessment result was a P+, then I got a C for my major assignment. Then, for the exam (worth 40%) I got a HD! It means that I get a D overall for the course, which I’m quite chuffed about. And now I have a few weeks’ break from study – more excitement!

  4. YES I DO! (feel lucky that is ;-)

Hmmm something exciting and creative, I guess having a baby would count as both of them! I’ve also been busy making finger puppets (see my blog) and am ready to start on my next creative challenge.

  5. this is wonderful and i love that you’ve helped raising funds for the animals.
Well, one exciting thing I’ve done is opening my shop, of course. One creative thing: i’ve been cutting paper hearts to decorate the window shop for valentine’s day!!

I hope I win, this is such a wonderful giveaway.

  6. Hi Tracey,

Blimey! Wonderful gifts and very generous of you.

Alas I’m not entering the competition as even though I’ve been extremely creative recently, it has all been writing for business clients.

I just thought I would comment on how great the gifts and you are. :) Very inspriring, perhaps upon my personal blogging return I should consider a giveaway. Something to think about.

    All the best

    Andrew

  8. Wow what a great give-away!
I love the look of your blog, Tabitha Emma has darling illustrations.

What I have done lately is also work on a blog make-over. My brother-in-law kindly designed my blog header & I’ve installed a powered by pastries template. Still got a few things to do but I’m loving it.

I’ve also been sketching allot lately- jewellery I want to create & a few other projects I have up my sleeve.. yay for creativity.
    xo Katie

  9. How absolutely generous of you. I stumbled here as I was looking at flood relief and the RSPCA.
I’ve temporarily exhausted my purchasing power at the Etsy flood relief sales (AusDisaster store, and of course the BrisStyle Handmade Ark appeal), and I ended up having a clean out at home, selling this on my organisation’s classifieds network and donating the money to the RSPCA. I saw the devastated facilities at Fairfield, and want to help them rebuild and get back on their paws quickly. As you know, they’re not entitled to government funding, as they’re a non-humanitarian charity.
    You’re a true gem.
I guess that’s my piece of excitement! I’ve decluttered my life, and helped make a difference to rebuilding facilities to support the protection of animals.
I’m also on a creative mission to upcycle plastic cutlery – but I haven’t succeeded yet, so I don’t think it counts :)

  10. What a great giveaway! Thanks for the chance!

Something exciting I’ve done lately…I rode horses for two hours today! I’ve been traveling and so I haven’t had the chance to up till now and have been in withdrawal! The opportunity came to ride some rescue horses and so I leapt!

  11. You have such a lovely blog and congrats on featuring the RSPCA Flood Appeal link – I feel that our four legged friends are sometimes forgotten in times of natural disasters. This is such an incredibly generous giveaway – found this through the Epheriell Newsletter x

I have embarked on a new creative mission with my husband experimenting with leather offcuts to create new things – only in the fledgling stages at the moment but nice to be learning some new skills.

Best wishes for an incredibly successful giveaway x

  12. This is such a delight! A giveaway full of art & full of giving!
I love that a part of the giveaway is the giving to charity.
Recent creative outburst involves cameras – both of the instant and the film variety. I love photography, and playing in the lomography field really helps keep things creative. :)

  13. What a gorgeous giveaway on a gorgeous blog!

Ok…something exciting we did recently was go on our first Korean road trip! We spent last week driving about the countryside, visiting some beautiful coastal landscapes (complete with dinosaur footprints!) and gorgeous mountain parks (including walking across a ridiculously high up, narrow, wobbly bridge string between two rocky peaks!) and also some particularly hair-raising moments trying to extract our car from a village whose roads where not made for the modern vehicle… Lots of excitement there!

  14. wow, you are incredibly sweet and generous! and snap, I’m hosting a giveaway too :)

My creative task lately has been finishing my little book with amy, which we hope to share with everyone soon. I’m very excited!

  15. I am a 50+ grandmother to 6 girls and I have never had the opportunity to attend University.
What has that got to do with being creative or exciting you might ask?
Both actually because I am studying with U3A (University of the 3rd Age) Online and I’m doing it just for me :O)

  16. Lovely giveaway… I made felt softie bunnies as gifts for Christmas. they were really cute and as a bonus i got to avoid shopping centre hype…

  17. Exciting? Started the new school year. Creative? Trying to make choc-caramel weetbix slice for the very first time, it was delicious even if it did look slightly ‘rustic’. I’ve also been trying to come up with ways to stay cool in a classroom with 30 teenagers! (not particularly successful) But I did cover my teacher diary with cartoons, inspirational and gorgeous images that will hopefully give me small moments of serenity and non-work focus throughout the year.

  18. Hi Tracey,
This is soooo generous of you, what a price of gorgeous goodies. I know personally few of your BrisSTylettes creative there what a nice package!
Tabitha did a brilliant job with your blog, I love the animals illustrations.
And finally thank you for your Birthday wishes, it was a great simple day and our doggies had a real all too!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
    x

  19. How generous of you! The prizes look so lovely :)

Last night I made a felt flower brooch, and I’m really pleased with it – a photo will appear on my blog at some point soon!

  20. oh what a lovely giveaway, I love everything. Vintage scarves are my fave thing, and I have recently become owl-obsessed. Creatively, I think the thing I am most proud of is that I have been cooking and baking gluten-free, sugar-free and almost dairy free lately. Adapting old recipes can be tricky, using various alternative flours, etc. I’ve been doing pretty well with it.
follow your blog on gfc as jhb

  21. Trouble is, if I enter something… I just wanna win. :) Haha… exciting and creative, huh? I took one of my valentine series and made some postcards and a tshirt out of them. Then I created some ‘coffee and poetry’ trifold leaflets with seven poems on them, which I’m going to pop onto windowledges of the local caf√©s. You’ve got a fantastic blog here Tracey – look how alive it is!

  22. What a sweet little giveaway!

Lately I haven’t been too creative (uni is taking over my life), but have been scoping op shops and furniture stores for ideas to decorate our new place. So far I have bought a couple of second hand photo frames and some white spray paint to spruce them up. I have also been working on a fabulous little herb garden and am having great success with cherry tomatoes!!

  23. My exciting and creative thing is that I started learning to knit 5 days ago! I’ve already become a bit obsessed and am almost at the end of my first 100m ball of yarn, which is about half a scarf’s worth. :) Great giveaway!

  24. Love your work! Clever use of colours and designs!

Creative… hmmm …. I think everyone is creative in some way, even without knowing it.
More recently I have been turning my daughters artwork into birthday, Christmas & greeting cards, calendars, wrapping paper and gift tags. A wonderful way to recycle, reinvent and share her creativity and imagination especially to interstate family & friends overseas who can’t witness her flair in person.
I don’t usually win anything, but happy to share my ideas!

  25. Oh this looks like such a lovely collection of treasures!
My exciting, and hopefully even a bit creative, thing is that i have applied to audition for a choir…
I haven’t sung properly for ages, so it will be a great way to get back into the swing of things {:->

  26. Hi love this whole idea and the give aways.
The issue with pets and disasters has become quite a talking point during this unfortunate event. Anyway, I have completed a painting this week, that shall become part of my first solo exhibition this year. Hope all goes well cheers :)

  27. This is the BEST giveaway I have seen!!!!! We recently rescued an English Bulldog named Rose. I made Rosie a pretty scarf for around her neck. I love her so much – and I do not even sew!!!!!
