Good blooms come to those who wait.
First came the lovely green buds.
Second came the beautiful white tulips.
Here now finally is my proudest achievement as a gardener to date…the stunning purple blooms have arrived!

As glorious as they appear to be here, I have to admit they are even lovelier in person…

Hi Kathleen – I’m so glad you enjoyed the lovely flowers, but I still don’t think it’s all that right to take credit for them! But thank you!!

Thank you for the wonderful tulip. While looking at your flower, I unexpectedly became free from the heavy autumn thoughts – my eyes were uplifted from a cemetery stones to the heavenly pictures.
Your garden child was the real healer. Thank you for the wonderful shot.

I can see that a touch of the Southern Hemisphere and you have been growing the sweet smell of Spring, and have oh so delightfully fashioned a darkened fuchsia, white and golden yellow masterful bloom. The colors of nature are always stunning. Just stunning!

Hi Lisa – Yes, it’s safe to say that I’ve been inspired in many ways by thoughts of all things spring. The days have been growing steadily warmer, and the sunlit hours have been slowly growing longer and longer.
I’ve been dreaming of beautiful delicate dresses, fresh sunny fragrances and cool fruity drinks by the water… Nature is the master of blessing us with glorious creativity and spoiling us with incredibly vibrant colours…

Hi Kimberley – I’m very slowly catching up on all my comments… Thanks as always for stopping by!
I have to admit that I’m more than a little proud of the beautiful flowers that have bloomed in the garden. Who knows where all this growing will lead to next… perhaps onto vegetables and fruit?

Hi Jason – Tulips must be one of the most beautiful flowers, and it seems so satisfying when you have seen them grow from bulbs… it all seems like an incredible miracle!! Glad you liked them!

How fabulous! I love growing things…I have no personal talent at doing that but that’s what boys are for! I also get rather proud when anything flowers, flowers are the best

Hi Caf – I love growing things too, but I have to admit that I’m generally less successful growing other things than I have been with growing tulips. Most things I seem to just kill without even meaning to!!
Growing flowers is particularly rewarding, but I find that I often get too impatient. I want flowers RIGHT NOW – I don’t like waiting for them to come into season… haha!
