Hi Kimberley - At the moment I just can't get enough of all the delicious magazines available...just when I feel like I've discovered all the magazines worth discovering, I go ahead and discover some more. Oh Frankie is just the best, and I love Notebook...but you probably already know all that!! 8)

There are some really lovely photographic editorials in Russh, and I was surprised at the affordability of some of the labels featured within...it didn't leave me feeling like I do when I read Vogue (ie. depressed that I can't afford anything in there, and horrified at the cost of some items). In some of the articles I just swoon with the beauty of it all...

Oh true, movie magazines are great as well. I've never really explored the world of computer / web design magazines, but maybe I should!! I wish somehow that I could claim magazine purchases as a tax deduction...that would be sweet!! Or better yet, if I just had unlimited funds in the first place to buy as many as I want! 8)

Hi Jason - It's funny how obsessed you can become with magazines...I'm really hoping this phase dies down soon for me, because I really can't justify spending so much money on magazines especially as I've been doing my best to stop buying so many books...it seems my reading purchases have just changed format...

I am the absolute same! I have a pile of magazines I'm yet to read yet I buy them - even the texture of paper alone (like Peppermint as you mention) is enough to draw me in! I am a new discoverer of Frankie, I'm buying every copy of Notebook, and find it so inspiring. I'm not sure I'd like Russh, I'm not entirely into *fashion heavy* magazines.. My collection would be beauty, notebook/pepperminty/dujour type magazines, then there's computer/web design and movie magazines! Its really a sickness..

Hi Ricardo - I'm sure magazines are somewhat addictive, there's always another one to buy, always another edition coming out...they never, ever stop.

I know what you mean about the internet changing this need for magazines though...now it is possible to get information from so many sources, not just from print. I go through phases of collecting them and being more than a little obsessed with them...before I get sick of all the clutter...

Hi Maxine - Oh thank you! So glad you enjoyed reading about the magazines I love. Magazines are so perfect for all sorts of wonderfully creative reasons...not just for reading! 8)

I was a magazine reading fiend back in the day. All sorts of them. News one, hipster ones, tech ones, film ones. You name it. There is something satisfying about reading the right ones. Quick, informative and engrossing. I think the internet ruined my appreciation of them .

I love this post. I 'appropriate' a lot of those mags you've mentioned from cafe's and waiting areas and use them to create recycled art for my blog. Though as a poet I shouldn't admit it, I confess to reading them while I rip & paste :)

I'm so glad that I've lured another such as yourself to a new magazine temptation...I hope you succumb (or at the very least read the articles in the store!!)... 8)

Westwood, Kaufman and Nimoy, what a dinner party that would be. I'll have to get that mag on the way home tonight. Your taste in everything is impeccable, Tracey.
