Hi Ricardo - It is certainly a most beautiful, and a most seriously presented graphic novel. The illustration is simply beautiful and the writing is the perfect accompaniment...sometimes graphic novels tend to overlook the importance of the words...but not Mouse Guard! I'll report back with what I think once I've finished reading...

Hi Paul - Me too! Graphic novels do seem to be slowly gaining more acceptance as an art form (and as books)...as they rightly should!! (and this one is cute as well which is a bonus)...

medieval mice comic book!

I must admit I stick primarily to DC and a few favourite characters, but this looks extremely interesting and am very tempted to buy.

I'm envisioning a more high brow version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with substance thrown in. Graphic novels are super comic books that outshine some real novels. People would be shocked at how sophisticated some of those comic book stories can be.

That looks very cool. I like the way graphic novels are being taken seriously as art and as literature these days.
